A long-acting GHRH analogue for endocrine signalling research.
CJC-1295 with DAC is a synthetic, modified analogue of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH). Developed with a Drug Affinity Complex (DAC), the peptide was designed to extend its circulation time through interaction with serum albumin. It has been investigated for its effects on growth hormone (GH) secretion, insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1) and related endocrine signalling pathways.
Growth Hormone & IGF-1 Signalling
CJC-1295 acts through the GHRH receptor, which is involved in regulating growth hormone secretion from the anterior pituitary. Clinical research has examined its effects on circulating GH and IGF-1 concentrations, making it a subject of interest in endocrine feedback and hormone signalling studies.
Drug Affinity Complex (DAC)
The DAC modification distinguishes CJC-1295 from shorter-acting GHRH analogues. Its reactive group supports binding to circulating serum albumin, extending systemic exposure. In an early clinical study, the reported elimination half-life was approximately 5.8–8.1 days, although this should not be interpreted as a recommended dosing interval.
Laboratory Preparation & Analysis
CJC-1295 with DAC is supplied as a lyophilised research material. Laboratory handling should follow a documented, compound-specific protocol covering solvent compatibility, analytical concentration, sample stability and contamination controls. Preparation conditions should be established using validated research methods and the relevant batch documentation.
Storage & Handling: Store and handle according to the supplier's validated stability information and the batch-specific certificate of analysis. Protect research material from unnecessary moisture, temperature fluctuations and repeated handling. Reconstituted sample stability must be established for the solvent, concentration and experimental conditions used.
For laboratory research use only. Not approved for human consumption or clinical administration. Published research findings do not establish the safety or efficacy of this product.
