Tidal Peptides ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and how you can access or correct it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

1. Information we collect

  • Contact and delivery details: your name, email address, phone number, and billing and shipping addresses.
  • Order information: the products you buy, order history, and messages you send us.
  • Payment information: payments are processed by our payment providers. We do not see or store your full card details.
  • Account information: if you create an account, your login details and preferences.
  • Device and usage information: your IP address, browser and device type, and how you use our site, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

2. How we collect it

We collect information directly from you when you place an order, create an account, sign up to our emails or contact us. We also collect some information automatically when you browse our site.

3. How we use it

  • to process, ship and track your orders;
  • to provide customer support and respond to your enquiries;
  • to manage your account;
  • to send you marketing emails, but only if you have agreed to receive them;
  • to prevent fraud and keep our site secure;
  • to improve our site and products; and

4. Who we share it with

  • Shopify, which hosts our store and processes orders;
  • payment providers, to process your payment;
  • Australia Post, to deliver your order;
  • email and analytics service providers, to send emails you have agreed to and understand how our site is used; and
  • authorities, where we are required or permitted to by law.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Overseas disclosure

Some of our service providers, including Shopify, store or process data outside Australia, for example in the United States and Canada. We take reasonable steps to make sure these providers handle your information in a way consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.

6. Cookies

Our site uses cookies to keep your cart working, remember your preferences and understand how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but some parts of the site, such as checkout, may not work properly without them.

7. Marketing

We only send marketing emails if you have opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. We will still send emails about your orders and account.

8. Security and retention

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. We keep your information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as required by law, for example tax and accounting records.

9. Access and correction

You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by emailing us. We will respond within a reasonable time, usually within 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity first.

10. Complaints

If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, please email us first and we will try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

11. Age

Our site and products are only for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
